Atlantic coast only. State rule dates are fixed by regulation; federal offshore season is set annually. STATE WATERS. Size is 36 in FORK LENGTH (FL). Cobia is ALSO federally managed 3-200 miles offshore — federal (NOAA/SAFMC) size, bag, and season can differ and the federal recreational season is set annually; consult www.safmc.net / NOAA Fisheries for offshore trips.
